Javier Milei was elected the new president of Argentina, getting 56% of the vote.

Milei is a self-described "anarcho-capitalist" whose main promises are to cut government spendings, dollarize the economy, eliminate the Central Bank, reduce the number of ministries and fight Argentina's 140% hyperinflation.

Let’s wait and see what he actually accomplishes. When previous administrations leave your country at 140% inflation then it’s time to bring out the chainsaw (which Milei is literally doing).

One thing I am so f*cking sick is how the MSM fixates on personalities vs. policy. There swathes of very stupid people out there who care about optics/words vs reality.

I personally was never a fan of Trump’s personality. Sure I loved it when he called out the radical left and our disgusting leftist MSM. But he never paused for a second to spew or tweet whatever crossed his mind. Just because you think of something doesn’t mean it’s right. He just stepped on rake after rake after rake.

Anyway as much as I hate Biden and his gross incompetence he also has given democrats are much needed hard lesson. They all voted with their emotions and now things are exponentially worse vs when Trump left office. Especially with inflation. Many will remain as dense as a tree stump and vote for the decrepit walking corpse again next year. But some are finally waking up to the cold hard fact that policy is what f*cking matters. Not personality.

I predict that the Argentine MSM will attack him with all the ferocity that the American MSM has attacked, and continues to attack, Trump. The MSM thrives on failure, not success, as that provides an opportunity for the MSM to acquire more power.

Problem of Argentina is, it's a country with lot of natural resources and natural resources are a curse for normal people in a country. Elites won't share if they don't have to. In countries where educated human resources are the source of main income, elites have to share income with the pleb otherwise pleb becomes demotivated. In countries where natural resources generate main income, is majority of pleb just parasites from reference point of elites.

I saw him on TV today. He has a good attitude and the public seems to be behind him. He was called the Argentine Donald Trump and he liked it. It will be interesting if her can turn the country around. Argentina used to be a prosperous country before the commies took over.
