Republicans have deliberately stymied any real progress he’s tried to make. I’m pretty neutral on Biden, I don’t care either way, but I read his Build Back Better Act start to finish (long read!), but I thought it was excellent, particularly if anyone is concerned about keeping up with China economically. But the Democrats didn’t work with Trump, and the Republicans aren’t being any more mature with Biden in response, so we just watched the Republicans filibuster for weeks and weeks. There were two Democratic holdouts in Manchin and Sinema, but the fact that ZERO Republicans voted for it tells you everything you need to know, because it really wasn’t a bad plan. I mean, whatever, but anyone against that plan, I don’t want to hear a peep from them about “wE’rE lOsInG tO cHiNa!!!” I don’t know, I mean, if you want the plan tweaked, we can definitely have the conversation, but it really just felt like a bad-faith thing from the Republicans. It wasn’t about “how can we make this work so we can all agree on it?”, it was “how can we stop you from accomplishing this so we can turn around at midterms and yell about how Biden isn’t getting anything done?”🙄😒🤦‍♂️

Yes. It’s terrible the way things get politicized just before midterms. Like how suddenly conservatives are being called “ultra MAGA Republicans” by the president, or how this Democrat administration suddenly believes fighting “misinformation” is the most important thing in America. It has nothing do with the midterms though. Not a thing. 😆

Biden and his administration have been a disaster. I knew if he somehow got elected things would be bad. But even I am surprised at how bad things have gotten this fast. He blames anyone and anything for the state of things with the country other than his own policies.
