How to deal with racism at school?

I’m a black woman in a predominantly white high school in the south and I of course get called names by southern boys. I’m quite pale for a black woman and I get called white and they refer to me as Michelle Obama. One white guy called me Asian and started squinting his eyes. They always call me stupid just because I don’t kiss up to their radical Republican views. One of the guys is biracial but he’s also republican he says things like “no offense but nobody would ever date you.” Meanwhile, his girlfriend does crack 🙄 My friend is Puerto Rican and they always call her Mexican and they always talk about them deporting her. They also told me to go back to Africa etc. They always complain about it being too many black people in their class. I don't know what to do

Just remember they will get there's. My school was very mixed but most races besides white was Latino. I grew up near the border in California and I'm thankful to have had that mixing pot of races.

And as a white woman I can't relate to be discriminated against like you have because of your race. But I can relate to being discriminated about my weight. In the 90's when I was in school I was always like 30lbs overweight. And most kids were skinny. Its not like today where lots of kids are a little overweight. The neighborhood kids would see me and shout Shamu all the time. Shamu was a killer whale at SeaWorld. It was horribly embarrassing and made my self esteem shit.

The one thing I regret is not standing up for myself. You don't deserve to be treated like you are less than because you are black. If i were you I would use your phone and record any interaction with these people and try to get evidence of their racist remarks. If you can get proof go to the principle or better yet have your parent show them any evidence. I would take it to the news and expose those little a'holes. People these days don't think kindly of racist so I'm willing to bet they will get so much negative attention. Maybe it will teach them something.

Also just know most people are not racist like that in most parts of America. Even if they are republican. I was republican for many years but now I'm more of a libertarian. But know that most Republicans are not truly racist like rheumatologist news narrative tries to put out there. Both Democrats and Republicans play on certain issues to win votes. Today's politics is so stupid.
