What to do about racist kids?

I’m a junior and I go to my favorite teacher’s class during the day and there’s always these racist ass freshmen and sophomores at are always saying racist shit. They’re making jokes about Africans and Mexicans. They always have segregation jokes. This one kid made a joke about George Floyd. I’m about sick and tired of it at this point. I’m 2 seconds always from snapping at them. But I don’t wanna look like an angry black woman. Should I speak up?

If you show a bully that they can hurt you, they will just hurt you more.

Nothing you say to those people is going to alter their behaviour or viewpoint.

You could try making a complaint to the head of your school, the police if there are laws racism where you live or to your local paper, but in reality it is highly unlikely that anything would come from doing this.

Realistically the best thing you can get out of this situation is a thick skin, use this as an opportunity to avoid allowing other people to influence your emotional state etc.

They are racist bullies, they know they are doing it within earshot of you and other children not of their race and seeing if they can get a rise out of you, of course its making you angry they are ripping the piss out of you and think they are ok because they are in a group, best course of action either a take the piss back... In Britain we tell stupid jokes like did you hear about the Irish man, English man and the scottish man followed by a steriotypical insult directed at the Irish being stupid etc.. Well in your case you could try did you hear about the Mexican man, African man and the American man and put in a steriotypical part where the American is stupid...
They won't like it but serve them right...
