Name a country YOU consider a Third World country?

To me, third world countries are those where you have high numbers of people shot, often randomly while shopping.

Where people physically attack the government or seat of government.

Where everything gets overly religious in all aspects of life.

where it’s hard for gay, lesbian and bisexuals to fit in with a society that does not let them.

where basic human rights such as ability to seek safe abortion is heavily restricted or even illegal.

where racism is prevalent

where it’s the norm to mutilate the genitals of young boys without consent.

Where voting is considered rigged and political parties routinely accuse the other of cheating.

that to me is something like a 3rd world country looks like….

just have to think which countries it applies to…

India or Brazil in terms of looking how less developed some regions and cities and these countries seem to be.
It´s an outside perspective because I´ve never been into India I´ve only seen documentaries, pictures and movies so I could be wrong.
I´ve been once to Brazil but not very long, the corruption there is massive and the difference between rich and poor people is big.

1st world/2nd world/3rd world terms have nothing to do with how developed a country is. 1st world country just means capitalist that aligns with NATO (even if not a member). It has nothing to do with tech level or quality of life. So yes the USA is the prime example of a 1st world country, because it's the #1 capitalist country in the world, even surpassing the GDP of the European Union. 2nd world refers to the "communist bloc" which includes China. 3rd world is literally everyone else. Another way to understand it is like a story. 1st world would be the protagonist and his allies. 2nd world would be the villains. 3rd world would be neutral background characters uninvolved in the story.
