You mean George W Bush the war criminal? But seriously, we already knew he intentionally made up the lie that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or that they were involved in 9/11. It was just a convenient excuse for him to invade a country he had tried and wanted to attack previously. George W Bush is not a good person, never was.
He's getting old. Won't be long before he's an incoherent, babbling bag of bones like our current president.
He hasn't given hardly any speeches or major public appearances of any kind since he was president, and Iraq dominated a huge chunk of his speeches then. It's an obvious Freudian slip but the remark afterwards definitely made it worse. He should've just corrected himself and moved on without another word.

At least he was being honest even if it was a mistake. Also to me that gaff is a symptom of his guilty conscience coming to the forefront. Because despite clearly reading his speech off the podium the entire time, he still said it.
Make no mistake. The war on iraq was a response for 9/11, pure and simple!
Bush was a gaffe machine decades ago. I still like the man.
