A better question would be why are you Leftists so obsessed with them? Why on God’s green earth don’t you want someone to be able to defend themselves?

Imagine you’re a woman who lives alone (this should be easy for you) and one night you get woken up from sleep and there is a man in your bedroom standing over your bed and you can see he has a knife. You reach over to your nightstand and grab... your phone? Or you grab your pistol and shoot the sonofabitch?
