To be honest, Arab women ARE "White", as in Caucasian. No they are not Nordic White or Celtic White or Germanic White or Anglo White, but they typically could pass for Greeks or Italians or Portuguese or Spaniards or other Mediterranean peoples.

@alice55 Ok, sure, *you* can pick them out if you look more carefully. I'm more a Celtic White and I at first glance I often cannot.

But more importantly, the Whoopi Goldbergs of the world cannot: "The Holocaust was just one group of White people killing another..." (I paraphrase, but you get the idea)

It's not just me, but all European can pick them out but I think it's because we're used to see them everyday unlike American (there's not many Arab in America comparing in Europe) it's for this we can pick them out, but saying they can pass for Southern European is absolutely false (American often think Southern European are dark but that's not true at all they look much Whiter than you think).

Jews aren't White either and don't look White we can easily see who's Jews (some look White but that's a minority.
I think American are just not used to see them compared to European.
I'm also a pasty White (everyone say my skin is too pale and I have blue eyes) but I still pick up who's White and who's Arab / Jews easily.

Yes, when you're not used to it it's hard, the first time I saw Arab people I knew they looked different but couldn't for the life of me know where they were from. They were too dark to be White but didn't have the feature tof a Black person.
