Americans, how has the economic conditions changed in the US recently?

Has it become better or worse? Do you feel financial and economic pressure? Are things getting worse or not? Can you give me a description of how much it costs to live in the US nowadays?

Everything is a lot more expensive. I am still unemployed and since covid I do not know when I will be working again. My benefits have run out so I am not counted anymore. I am amazed at how much worse things have gotten in this country since Biden became president. If there was a book about how to run a country into the ground Biden must have checked it out of the library.

The cost of living across the United States greatly varies. My mom just got a job in California and is making 1.5 times the money she did, but it still is a pay cut since California is so incredibly expensive. On top of that, California is taxing her almost double of what she was being taxed here


But costs of everything everywhere is going up, an extreme example is the tripling of the cost of gallons of water. And of course gas now 5x higher than before
