yes and no. Racism is judging a person based on the color of their skin.
I do believe that people don't like a person, group of people, that are consider "outside" of their beneficial/trading partners, let me explain.
People have always preferred groups that are closer to them in location and culture than those who aren't. As society grows and progresses, our spheres of acceptance also grow and pushes our spheres of dislike/hate out further. I don't believe everybody is racist, there really isn't any reason that everybody would be inherently racist. Biologically, nothing has been found that indicates people have to be racist and socially we have found many people being friendly with people from other races. However, people tend to only be friendly with people from other races when they are no longer deemed a threat to the original persons group.
10,000 years ago people most likely didn't even know that there were different races. The vast majority of people at this time likely didn't go far enough or receive enough information to realize that their were that large of differences between humans. Does that mean that people didn't hate each other and fight? Of course they did, that is probably how many of the earliest civilization centers formed.
In the modern day, for the most part, global conflicts aren't being decided based on the color of the other persons skin, but on whether they want to be apart of the American or Russo/Chinese alliance.
A select few people are still being racist without a doubt, but a lot of the time it is based in more of an us v. them situation. A "we feel threatened by them, thus we must strike first" mentality.

What happens is that some people are vocal about their racism and show it in many ways, while others lie and or try to hide it.
