Why is it wrong to have prejudices?

people aren't perfect. everybody has them on some level. Like I don't see why it matters. i generally despise attractive women, since i think they're scum. so if people have bigoted views, so be itl

Prejudice is an opinion or feeling which is formed without a lot of thought or knowledge learned through socialization & you're right we all have them and there's nothing wrong with it per say.

& now comes the but. Holding on to your predjuice, makes you narrow minded and lacking in intelligence. Not being able to see passed your own predjuice & your own world view, will hinder you from growing and learning. That people choose to be wilfully ignorant and stuck in their ways I'll never understand.

It really depends. But not liking attractive women is kind of a odd one... Some of them are bad people but certainly not all of them not in my experience anyways

people should have the confidence to handle being judged. we're not owed anything, and nobody is that special not to be judged.

a good person doesn't espouse double standards. a good person also recognises they're not owed anything. it's funny you think you're owed good vibes from randomers. typical US snowflake. or you can explain why you're due special favours in engagement.

I don't think that's always true. In most cases prejudices are learned from your parents or peers. That's why they're called prejudices, literally "pre-judgements". Anyhow even your own judgements should be reviewed in the light of new evidence.
