Do humans naturally constantly think or do you just some of us think more fast about more things, than other people?

I know some people think a lot more and a lot more rapidly than others, and some people think little to not at all. But for those that think a lot and think rapidly, this can be exhausting but this can also be a useful tool.
For some, rapid thinking will intervene with work or school, social situations, driving, etc

For some.. what’s a good way to reduce/minimize this rapid thinking? What’s worked for you? 👍🧐
