Not at all. I got divorced and after a few years met someone who turned out to be acquainted with my ex-wife. They said "All she talks about is you". Funny, I rarely thought about my ex.

My ex and me? No, we didn't. I had little self-esteem when we met. Eventually I got some therapy and became more assertive. She had BPD or something similar and couldn't handle being told "no". She imagined that I would be unable to survive without her. Instead I had a much happier partnership with someone new while she remained single.
