Why are cops allowed to give black people money?

It costs less to settle a case than to try it and the way cops behave toward black people they are likely to lose and also get tagged as racists.

Nothing really - just the millions that city governments spend to settle lawsuits by people that get beaten and shot and killed by bad cops.

@msc545 ok so if there’s not statistics packing this claim then you really don’t have an argument to concern people about. Some cops are brutal but the majority of them are not. Your going to get back actor in any profession. From cops to school teachers to the guy flipping burgers at Burger King and spitting on your food

I m sure if you want to you could find out exactly how much a given city spent in a given year settling lawsuits that arose because of bad police actions, and go ahead and do that if you want. The data exists and is sometimes published in the press. That said, *I* have no intention of doing this for you unless you plan to pay me a hell of a lot. I assert this becuse virtually everyone except you knows about this already and it falls under the rubric of "common knowledge". Do you want proof? Find it yourself.
