How would you feel if you were robbed by a 'polite thief/robber'?

Like "excuse me sir/madam may i have all your money please?" followed by 'I'm really sorry about this but i need the money" with a gun pointed at you?

Then after taking your money says 'thank you so much!' and leaves

I' be terrified still!

I'd actually feel bad for the theif

I'd feel more inclined to give him the money since they were super polite about it

There's no such thing as a polite robber even if their manners were good!

A man in San Diego wheeled his wheelchair into a bank and gave the teller a note. "This is a robbery, please give me $1.00 and then call the police. I will be waiting outside the door" The teller gave him a dollar bill. He said thank you! wheeled outside and soon the police came. Dumfounded the police asked why? His reply "I need medical help and the hospital refused me many time!" Sense then several others have done the exact same after learning of this man.

It moved the community to ask for his release, but he begged the judge to stay. I believe that they continued to delay his case until he got all the care he needed and then threw out the case. The man and his situation should shock us all!

Just because you're committing a felony doesn't mean you can't have some class.

Seriously though, I've seen people do that because they were ill and wanted prison over being both ill and homeless.

Well I think a decent person would never threaten another person at gunpoint to steal their hard earned money, no matter what their situation is. How do they know that the person they're stealing from doesn't urgently need it as well? But I'd guess I would just give them the money if I have a gun to my head... and tell them to really reflect on what they're doing before they leave, I don't know.

That video is kind of heartbreaking and for the people who don't receive it so kindly, I get it. But it really is a struggle and when you're broke you do start thinking some desperate thoughts.
