What Americans think about Europe?

Most of us think it's kind of silly that you call yourselves a continent when Asia's, like, right there; do you guys not have maps?

Beyond that, it's a region with a huge variety in population, culture, and history. What a person thinks is going to vary quite a bit. Most America have some degree of European ancestry, and learning about that affects what they think (it also forms part of a sense of identity, which probably makes the rest of the world think Americans are WAY more racisw hman we actualy are).

It's a place far east or west in either direction with lots of people living there
Sounds fun to go there though, the cites look really pretty and the cultural food looks awesome (Im sure most of that would be the thrill of a new place living there it would just become home)

"Europe" is way too broad to define as a whole, but I will say this: I have enjoyed visiting dozens of countries in Europe, I like some more than others, but I wouldn't want to permanently live in any of them.

I think Europe is basically irrelevant, in terms of the world stage. I don't understand why we place the emphasis on Europe that we do.
