I have always wanted to have kids, not every other woman does but to me abortion is not a good thing. Glad I'm alive!

+1 yI'm not terribly political, but I do have some views regarding abortion. After taking a few steps back from the emotional baggage that goes with it, I'd like to offer my thoughts.
Rights are a difficult thing to identify, but they need some clarification. Essentially, I believe two things in this regard: 1: You are responsible for the consequences of YOUR actions, and 2: You have a right to be exempt from outside damages.
That's where abortion gets tricky. Getting pregnant is usually an accident in situations where abortion is a concern. The question is, is it more of an outside damage, or the consequences of your actions?
In the case of rape or sexual abuse, the answer becomes much clearer. You had no choice, and the pregnancy really was forced on you. But in the case of a condom breaking, or not taking the pill, it is an accident, but you knew the risks.
Now, I'm not going to say I know how this should go, but I support the Supreme Court's decision. All they did was overturn that abortion was a right - they did NOT outlaw abortion. They revoked their position and returned it to the states to try by a more case-by-case business, which I fully support.11 Reply- +1 y
Pregnancy is never an acident... it is cause and effect.
Sure, rape happens... so take the "Plan B Pill" and a rape kit so the rapist can be prosecuted.

+1 yMany, many times RBG predicted that roe would eventually be overturned saying in part because, “Roe was bad law! I absolutely support a woman’s right to get an abortion or not, I just wish that the justices in ‘73 had written Roe in such a way that it couldn’t be so easily… AND LEGITIMATELY overturned by a future court!”
As a young woman who needed an abortion when in one fell swoop, when I first read the Supreme Court leak, I was very worried. Because on my 13th birthday I became the survivor of both RAPE and INCEST, so yes, I was extremely worried that abortion would become illegal period! Then I learned that it just meant that any restrictions on when and where a woman may get an abortion would be sent back to the states to decide. I also discovered that America was the only western nation with unrestricted abortion on demand up to the moment of birth, but besides China and a few other autocratic nations, we were the only country on earth with unrestricted abortion. England, Germany, and France restrict abortion to the first 12-14wks only! Florida’s “restrictive abortion law, allows abortion up to the first 20 wks! Higher than any European country! Texas’s heartbeat bill, puts them at about 8 to 10 weeks! (Still a LOT higher than the time women in Italy have!). Look, AS a 13yo girl who missed two periods, and had to go to the closest drug store by our house to get her pregnancy test alone, I know damn well that it doesn’t take three months to figure out that you don’t want that child growing inside you! So while I will fight for the rights of ANY GIRL who was raped and can’t get abortive help, I have no sympathy whatsoever for any woman who has unprotected sex, gets pregnant, and sits around for 4 months wondering what she’s going to do! Also I’m vehemently against any state that bans abortion outright, and I’ll stand right with you on getting people in there who will undo such a law!00 Reply - 578 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yI'm very pro-choice and I live in a state with a trigger ban, so I'm doubly upset about it, but regardless of your view on abortion, the legal precedents set by row are the basis of so many other rights we enjoy. This is a very troubling time for our freedom and liberty in America.

+1 yIt's frightening. I've never had an abortion and hopefully never be put in a position where I feel I need one. However, this overturning and with the speed of which certain states went to outright ban it, this takes away almost any choice a woman has. What sickens me the most were the women in court defending against abortion even if a young minor gets pregnant from rape and how it's "a blessing and a chance to be a mother"

+1 yBad. Dumb lazy women with no work ethic usually get abortions for cosmetic reasons, so they don't look fat and can still attract a man. It's bad because we don't need anymore stupid people like them so it was good when they were getting abortions. Now they dont have it available and they are mostly likely going to be dog shit parents and their kids are going to grow up to be stupid like them and the stupidity will spread even more.

The problem that it creates us unsafe abortions in certain banned states. Prohibition didn't stop people from drinking, just made them get more creative

@_deeznuts right? Any woman using birth control should understand that basic fact
- +1 y
@_deeznuts that's what stupid people think. Fact is that if taken correctly the pill is 99.9% and condoms rarely break. When they do you go get a plan b pill (regret pill/ morning after pill)
- +1 y
@_deeznuts lol 😆 😂 🤣 aaaahahhahha what studies are those? Condoms almost never break. And like I said already 🙄 😒 if they do you get a morning after pill. Sweet people it's cute you're all so innocent but please if you're having sex PLEASE try to find the facts and protect yourself. It's cute to see dumb people regurgitate some abstinence guy from church saying condoms always break and pill don't want to do that... well ill just say "it works better than nothing "! So 😋 kids use it!!!

The point is people who have sex know very well what having sex is and actually for and will do.
If you DO NOT 💯 Ever want to get pregnant do not have sex. Why is this difficult to understand. If you have sex be very aware you may very likely get pregnant, so be prepared to be responsible and accountable for your decision to have sex. With or without protection. Please chose good partners too.
If your horny don't have time to worry about life changing decisions toys and being intimate without penetration also exists.
🤷
There is so many solutions it's not even funny.

Yes hypothetically it can always happen. With pill chances are minimal. End of story
- +1 y
@Sirenboobzilla How about not getting pregnant if you don't want a kid.
Also, do you realize that more than half of current abortions today are nonsurgical? - +1 y
@BillyBalls shhhhhhhh, don't speak on things you clearly don't fully comprehend
- +1 y
@Sirenboobzilla I don't understand because I'm a man?
You left Loonies claim men can get pregnant. - +1 y
@BillyBalls you don't even know where I stand politically and I've never made such a claim myself sooooo
- +1 y
@Sirenboobzilla @billyballs the most laughable of all claims is that men can get pregnant. Where is the fetus? Where does it develop? Where does the egg come from? I try to avoid hearing or seeing any lgqbcdefg++ insanity as much as possibly (I live off grid on 200 acres so it's not too hard) but when I hear it I'm highly amused. Pregnant men are the funniest but it's all laughable. I don't care if you're a pregnant man or a woman with a dick or in a diaper or a dog costume or some combination but please just be it in your house with your curtains drawn. I mean my husband and I dress up as Luke Skywalker and princess lea and have a nice Friday night but we don't include the whole world in it...
- +1 y
@Bratsondanielle lmao no one said men could get pregnant babes
- +1 y
@_deeznuts some libtards actually say that
- +1 y
Some. Not all. I imagine you don't like to be generalized

Now y’all gotta be RESPONSIBLE72 Reply1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think they did the right thing. The Roe V Wade decision in 1973 by the supreme court was made based on a certain premise. It is that premise that the supreme court has looked at this time and found it to be a false premise. That makes the original ruling null and void. Which make the original ruling unconstitutional.
Had the original been based on truth and facts this would not have been overturned.00 ReplyI think that its great, and I'm really glad that it happened. Not all women have the money or are in the position to raise a child they didn't want, and it'll defiantly help decrease kids put up for adoption.
