What's the most prominent (most common) way pregnant women die?
The answer is murder.
If a female at 13 gets raped by a 70 year old man, what is the female parents response if they are religious?
The answer is force the child into marriage. So god dosen't think she is a whore.

Logically. If they get pregnant at a time they do not believe they can support and raise a baby, it reduces their options and increases their costs.
Emotionally, they know they would feel trapped, and would be forced to commit 9 months of their life to pregnancy even if they did not keep the baby.
Pregnancy, even in modern times, is a risky endeavour and there is a cost physically on a woman's body throughout her life from them on.
Giving up a baby after birth, and when she is saturated in hormones, is very difficult and will cause likely lasting emotional damage.
I can see why many do not like this change. I can see why others do.
What is the psychology?
Well, being told you are nothing more than a incubator for the male sperm would be one thing.
Do you really believe you would be okay with having the government tell you that just because something is INSIDE your body, doesn’t mean you have any say over it or it’s use of your body?
