With his inaction and knowing that legislating from the bench would not last forever and they'd be better off codifying it federally? Yes, I would say that's a deliberate attempt to overthrow Roe v Wade or at the very least a sign of severe apathy.

He really dropped the ball on abortion, Democrats have for the last 50 years. They could have codified it into federal law but they were content to let the Supreme Court legislate from the bench probably knowing deep down it was going to be overturned eventually.

I'm for abortion rights but inferring abortion rights from the 4th amendment and whatnot was quite a stretch.
