Do you think social media platforms tend to be a breeding ground for radicalizing people?

I think TikTok is trying to radicalize me. Yes your fyp is catered to you, but I never sought out political content or radical feminist content. Yet it's pumped out to me. It reminds me of how Facebook played a huge role in the 2016 election. On tiktok I feel like there's so many feds and psyops. Also the content being pushed to me is all around hating men.. and I've had to rub my eyes and bring myself back to reality,, because it's easy to get sucked into the "all men are bad and evil.. and don't see women as human.. and are all rapists.. and always are out to hurt/kill women and *insert bad stereotype about men*" Since when has it been beneficial for people to actively dehumanize another group of people? There are very real problems, but you just can't generalize like that, and have so much anger toward a group of people. It's not healthy, and if you look at history it doesn't go well. I've seen "kill all men" "is it a daughter or an abortion" "I'd abort if I found out it was a boy", "all men are like this". it's crazy on there
