No I do not hate the opposite side, but I think I am about as stuck in the middle as any one person can possibly be.
The repubs pander to the far right, and Dems pander to the far left. But the vast majority of people, are stuck in the middle and nobody panders to me.
I don't give a crap about abortion, and I don't care about Trans Genders, or if some president appoints the first black or gay to a high level office. I mean sure there is a place for all that and I am not against it, but don't act like you really did something that impacts the life's of 90% of most Americans. You want to make an impact do something that really helps American as whole. Like protecting voting rights.
I hated Trump, not so much all is policies but the guy just rubs me the wrong way. But with that said I think Biden is a lip dick, lame duck president that panders to social justice and LGBTQ types without really doing anything for any of them or anyone. Hate Trump or Love Trump, he was not limp dick president. Maybe more like a bull in the china shop, but he was honest about being an eccentric ego maniac.
Trumps tax bill screwed me, I lost thousands of dollars in deductions, from caps on mortgage interest, relocation allowances from jobs, to child support and alimony... I mean these things really hurt me, and corporations got a tax holiday. But then Biden gets on TV and says that tax revenue is up, and oil corporations are making record profits... so lets give American a tax holiday on gas at the pump. WTF Joe, tax revenue is up because of Trump, record profits for corporations... thanks again Trump. So you going to save me 18 cents per gallon at the pump. That's like $2 per fill up for next 3 to 4 months... so your saving what $60 to $80 bucks over the course of the next 3 to 4 months? Give me break Joe, you're pandering again... how about you save me thousands in taxes by doing something real. But they are not talking about that, tax revenue is up, minimum wages are up, corporations making record profits... why you think we have inflation problems? You're squeezing tax payers from all sides, and then increasing minimum wages and taxing them more for it... and everything cost more and corporations pay for less. And no body form Dems to Repubs are talking about that... because they are all bought and paid for.
So lets appoint a black female Supreme Court Justices to the bench and claim victory so the people think I really did something for them, and then talk about increasing minimum wages... so Big Mac will cost $10. Which lets be honest for 99 cents the Big Mac was a good burger 10 years ago... but its a crap burger at $10.
So honesty I am feed up with the two part system and none of them speak to me.

I didn't use to but because so many tell me stuff to my face or online that is insane, then yeah I hate them... like the ones that admit openly they want at least $10 a gallon gas to help the environment so people will drive less, start using mass transit, or give up their cars... then I point out there is no mass transit here and they yell and get mad at me and say that is my choice for living where I do, not their problem.

To be honest, I dislike both sides, because they all operate on tribalism and attacking the other side. However, OVERALL, I think Conservatives/the right are far more tolerant and understand (at least, right now in history) compared to the fascist, intolerant, bigoted Progressive/left.
I used to be Liberal until late 2015 when the Neo-Liberals (Progressives) showed how disgusting and vile they can be. And yet, I am no conservative either, because I hate both religion and the pro-life arguments and think they're beyond retarded.
I am Independent/Centrist and while I said I get along much better with the right/Conservatives right now, I don't adhere to either side's policies, nor do I think taking sides is a good idea, to begin with. That's how you end up with these Bible Belt or LGBT-woke cults, to begin with.
People can no longer think for themselves, yet everyone thinks the other side is full of NPC's and sheep. And now, I'm not even sure if *I'M* not an NPC/sheep, for pointing this out!

Years ago, no. Now after what I have seen the last few years, yes, definitely.
Anyone in the USA that still votes democrat after these last few years is supporting racist against Whites and Asians, is supporting violence based on race, is supporting criminals and recreational drug use, they are supporting abusing elementary age kids sexually and emotionally with the homosexual/transgender agenda that is pushed by liberals in schools, they are supporting violence and vandalism against Christians and churches, they are opposing religious freedom (arrest preacher and lock down churches while keeping open bars), they support vandalism, theft, robbery, arson, and attacking innocent people, they are against police (even the majority that are good cops), they basically support immorality.
These last few years have shown me how terrible democrats really are. They don't just have different opinions, they are awful, immoral, dishonest people that hate America and all that is good. I believe they truly are evil.
Just because "democrat" sounds similar to "democracy," that doesn't mean they support anything about a democratic system. They are closer ideologically and by their actions to a blend of communists and Nazis. I know they like to throw that term around and call Republicans Nazis, but if you actually look at the actions of democrats and look at the actual policies and actions historically of communists and the Nazi party, the democrats realistically are close to their ideals in many instances.
I don't have issues with people's politics as long as it doesn't affect my way of life directly. My issue stems from the extremists on both ends that has the "My way or the highway" any disagreement to what the other holds leads to immediate hostility and disrespect and dividing.
I have met arrogant chodes from the left and dickheads on the right. Both of them could use a good throat punch at the end of the day, but yeah. Ideals are one thing, it is the psychos who try to force their ideals and make you subject to them that piss me off.
I don't know if I would call it hate. I'm exausted by the people who are addicted to their insecurities and would rather they didn't keep rubbing their brain pus all over the place, but I also understand it's part of the human condition to be easily addicted to things. I certianly pity them but hate isn't really a factor.
As for the right wing dealers I still don't know that hate is the right word. If I could push a button and they would drop dead at once, i would push it instantly because I don't see them as people. They are parasites, and it doesn't make any sense to hate a parasite. I'm not interested in causing them pain. I simply acknowledge that absolutely everyone else in the world would be better off without them - especially their addicts.
Deep down I am peace maker in most circumstances. I used to be more open minded to opposing views.
But back in 2015 I had my livelihood threatened at my old job because I was “outed” for being pro life when everybody else was pro choice.
I didn’t believe leftists would go to those great lengths back then but they will. That was a real turning point for me. I got much angrier, more conservative and more combative with these people. They can’t be reasoned with. They are like schoolyard bullies only listen to a good punch in the face.
I don't have a political party affiliation. I don't hate people just because they check a box on a voter registration form. Many people do that passively and don't pay much attention to what is going on in the world. That said, as an American citizen I do believe we should all defend the Constitution. Those who violate it and work to destroy our country are enemies. That sort of enemy action can be carried out under the supervision of people registered to any political party, but in this era the Democrats are the largest offenders. The are also Republicans that assist them in their attack and I have no love for them either.
I can’t hate all conservatives. I’m a central left so at more points than most on the left spectrum I agree. But I can’t wrap my head around this whole belief into the election was stolen, that January 6th was an unarmed peaceful protest, that Trump is an honest man. And how being a social justice advocate is an insult to them. It’s almost like they are in competition who’s more bigoted. Granted, advocating for the equality and rights of those less fortunate don’t mean you have to let yourself be used as a stepping stone.
I pity Democrat voters because I generally like them as people, but I find them to be... kind of lost, I guess? I thoroughly despise their representation for ethical reasons though. I think left wingers are well intentioned, but they're so performative that it's tough to believe they actually think anything they say.
On the opposite side, I generally don't like the kind of people Conservatives are and I think their ideas are bad, but I believe that they genuinely believe them more. I think Conservatives are more genuine as people and I believe that their representation is (again, generally) more true to the kind of people they represent. And I guess I prefer that to the lefties
All things considered, I would rather see conservatives in power right now. Not because I like what they think, quite the opposite actually; but because I know what I'm going to get.
I am a committed centrist and review things one issue at a time. I think the two party system is a joke and makes a sham of democracy.
Tribalism is only getting worse these days, so I catch flack from NPCs on both sides.

Yes I absolutely hate the right with all my heart. Maybe not necessarilythe voters because they are merely victims of manipulation, lies and propaganda, but definitely the politicians and the rich who controll them cause they know they are wrong but they don‘t care cause right wing policies benefit them.

It has always been this way. The concepts of right and left come from the french revolution where the left strived for a republic while the right wanted to keep the king in power. Nowadays the right wants to keep billionaires and politicians who push through policies that make the rich richer and hurt at least 90% of the population.
I’m naturally in the middle but I can find things I like and dislike on both sides. I’ve met people from different backgrounds, cultures and perspectives than myself and I thoroughly enjoy that experience.

Being a moderate, there isn’t an “opposite side”. I can no longer relate to the far right or the far left. They’ve all gone insane as far as i’m concerned. The problem is that crazy people don’t know they’re crazy. So the freaks on both sides only seem to recognize the crazy on the other side! It’s becoming progressively easier to believe we’re experiencing a simulation almost every week.
A rare, legit, solid GAG question. No, I don't hate or dislike the opposite viewpoints of my politics. We need said viewpoints in order to come up with best overall solutions. What I am against are vile people not backed up by facts that vandalize, threaten, and destroy through their ignorance and recklessness. And of note, I detest anybody on my side of politics that do the same. Unacceptable.
I do not hate them, The way things are in America today are really scary with the news media and big tech platforms all in the tank with the democrats. Throw in all the brainwashing that has gone on in the public school system and we have the one sided thinking we have today. Even when a situation is a plain as day, if the news media says the sky is red, most of the liberals will believe it.
