What would happen if somebody tore up Bible in America?

Would christians kill the man or send the man into coma in hospital or what other kind barbaric behaviour would they commit?

In Turkey, if somebody tore up Quran, it would his death ticket. Muslims would either kill or send him to hospital with a lot of bones broken.

Nothing at all, The printed Christian bible is not a sacred or living set of documents. It's just a book like any other. Tearing it up vindictively might be a little trashy, though.
