1) slavery, 2) sexism, 3) rape and 4) racism in the Bible all makes sense now!

Well then he’s got everyone fooled, the Bible doesn’t really condone slavery racism or rape it does talk about it and condemns it sexism is a little bit different since god have men and women different roles to play in life. But even god uses women in the Bible to there benefit and his like Rahab who let the Israelites into the city of Jericho where everyone except her and her family was killed, she would eventually become the great great great (1000 years later) great grandmother of Jesus same with Ruth all were related to king David and Solomon and Jesus later on so he rewarded the women who helped him. God looks at the role of women to be child bearers and home makers and marriage as men and women becoming one flesh rather then separate beings
Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Exodus 21:2 When you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve six years, and in the seventh he shall go out free, for nothing

Deuteronomy 22:23-29 ESV / 688 helpful votes
“If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor's wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst. “But if in the open country a man meets a young woman who is betrothed, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die. But you shall do nothing to the young woman; she has committed no offense punishable by death. For this case is like that of a man attacking and murdering his neighbor, because he met her in the open country, and though the betrothed young woman cried for help there was no one to rescue her.

And forgot the last part of the rape one…
28 “If a man meets a virgin who is not engaged and seizes her and lies with her, and they are discovered, 29 the man who lay with her shall give fifty shekels of silver to the young woman’s father, and she shall become his wife. Because he violated her, he shall not be permitted to divorce her as long as he lives.
Right because rape can cause pregnancy the man is punished by being forced to marry a women he doesn’t want and he is fined.
As far as slavery goes God knows that slavery is a natural part of the human condition therefore he tells masters not to abuse their slaves and treat them like humans not cattle god doesn’t like slavery but he understands humans are going to enslave each other anyway
to our previous conversation... I did not define what god is, but I'm not agnostic either...
I actually wrote something very similar to your question. That the Mandela effect has put disgusting nonsense into the bibles. The very copies sitting in our homes for decades are changing supernaturally. It is recorded on video. And much much more.
Well, even if it wasn't written by satan and it was written by godly forces, it does talk about the wolves in sheep's clothing, that's how I look at some of these so-called pro-life legislators with their draconian bans that will harm and kill some women. And actually, most religious scholars can't find any biblical references about life beginning at conception, it was something decided on by the Vatican council and then permeated into certain Christian denominations.
People wrote the bible not god or satan. If there is a god and satan then im sure both have had an influence on it through the people that penned it.

Where does it say about slavery? The kind of slavery the Bible allows is quite different from the slavery in CSA, before 1865; that would be like the Hebrews slaving Egypt in Exodus, which the Bible is against. Why would Satan write about worshipping G-d and not Satan himself? Most Jews and Christians worship G-d or some Christians even Jesus or possibly the Holy Ghost, and I reckon some Jews worshipped Ezra in the past. I kinda get it how G-d would damn those who don’t worship Him, and therefore, send them to Satan, which is what Satan would want.
the bible clearly states from whom you can buy slaves, how long you can beat them, and what your paltry penance would be if they die from your beating. Pretty sure the Atlantic Slave Trade found solace in the bible. The abolitions say they did too, but I can't find a single bible quote to support that.
Beating slaves is bloody messed-up.
I mean, why weaken a slave when you want them to work?
I don’t kick tractors. I kick footballs.
You censored God but not damn? clown
I think he could have applied himself more.
LOL. Makes as much sense as any other religious belief.
Wrote? More like changed. Niv, nasb, nkjv etc...
Only 1is needed the kjv is the most accurate, the Geneva is OK also, the others have to many changes.
I pray that you don’t believe that. Read your Bible and educate yourself for your own good.
What if you actually had a life and didn’t try to piss in everyone’s ear?
The Lord knows every word that comes out of your mouth remember that
These comments are amusing
What was he trying to say, then?
I'd want to highfive him
Where in the Bible does it mention slavery?
Give me a specific verse?
“Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ” ? this one?
They're not talking about literal slaves and if they were then they're not saying BLACK people should be slaves? Is that what comes to your mind?
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
New testament: Peter 2:18, Saint Peter writes “Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse.”
Old Test: whole website devoted. Notice the differnce in Israeli slaves vs the other “heathens around you”. www.biblegateway.com/.../
Nobody has any idea who wrote the Bible.
Councils of Nicae officially. There were multiple gospels. Only a few were chosen. And then the council “stole” some pagan rituals like Christmas to help transition new members. #marketing
That's understandable with conspiracy followers wno don't think for themselves, such as flat earthers whom I don't agree with.
But also they kind of don't, since the Jesuits are above masonry.
I have yet to hear one answer, why would the Canadian minister of defense, and many others alike be making up so much fantasy? www.dailymail.co.uk/.../...ati-controls-world.html
He did write the quran. Sure makes sense.
