In war, the death of innocents can occur and as history has taught us is almost a certainty that cannot be avoided. I'm sure the Israeli military goes to reasonable lengths to ensure that innocents do not get injured or killed during instances of combat.
Israel does not intentionally target a hospital because they want to harm or kill the innocents inside it.
Isræl does not intentionally target children to injury or kill.
But again in war, combat, or battle innocents can die.
So, to me, it is obvious that the Israelis are the good guys.
What do I mean by the "good guys," well, they are a country similar to the US where they uphold values such as morality, justice, freedom, etc.
Not only do they uphold these values, but with each passing year, decade, and century great progress has been made on all these fronts for the betterment of everyone within the borders of these countries.
A lot of other countries in the world do not share similar values as the US & Israel and with the passing of time have either not changed in their ways or actually have gotten more barbaric, unjust, lawless, hateful, intolerant, etc.
Why are some people dishonest or disingenuous about the intentions of Israel?

Israel started off as a good idea but I think those kinds of Jews live in a bubble in which they see themselves as entitled and as the "master race" which I think is ironic as back in the 40's that's exactly the same mindset the Nazis had. And in regards to Palestine, I don't think anyone should be kicked out of their own country just because a group of religious people claim it's their land. My honest thoughts: I don't see Israel as a ''country'' but as a planted statement. They (as a political entity) are rather trouble-makers than trouble-solvers.
So many things that can be said here. This is one of my favourite discussions. I will only say that it's noticeable how reasonable and objective criticism flies out the window whenever Israel is being discussed.

Israel's intentions are to survive. They have been invaded many times by surrounding countries. They have won and even took land from invaders with greater numbers.
