You see, multiracial casts CAN work in dramas, because drama is about conflict, struggle, or opposition.
Comedy, on the other hand, involves people in absurd situations, people playing the fool, people fooling others, and people making fools of themselves. The only Black characters I can see in a largely White comedy show are those who play the straight wo/man to the comic character who is behaving foolishly or in a silly manner. Think "Nina" (Simbi Khali) in "3rd Rock From The Sun" here.

I think conservatives underestimated the growing democrat/liberal power during the back when the Information Age started. In the 90s we weren’t intimidated by give computer nerds, dorky journalists, leftist Hollywood movies or dumb brainwashed kids/professors protesting only on college campuses. The older generation thought their influence could bring no real harm and just disregard them as perpetually immature losers. Even my dad used to say to me (when I complained about radical feminist bullshit going on in college many years ago) “who cares? They just want attention. Nobody really listens to them anyway”. Boy was he wrong.
Anyway there is a growing resistance though. And not just brief political parties like Trump but growing establishments like the Daily Wire and Ben Shapiro.

One of the things I hate about TV today is how the liberals are tripping over themselves to make their shows all inclusive. One show has a gay couple so another show had to have an inter racial gay couple. It just seems so fake and is a distraction.

I was just listening to a radio show, and judge kavanaugh and his family were harassed at a restaurant and had to leave. OK but the whole point of the Jefferson was making a lot of jokes that would get people fired if not beaten or stabbed today.
