About four years ago, Hawaii Emergency Management sent an alert to everyone’s cell phones saying, in essence, “A nuclear missile is heading this way and we’re all going to die.”
I was at a convenience store about to pay for a cup of coffee. I said “Hold on!” Figuring my diet and blood sugar no longer mattered, I grabbed some chocolate doughnuts.
I then took a selfie making a gesture and updated my Fakebook status to “Kim Jong-in, this one’s for you!”
