I can telll you from personal experience the vax does not stop you getting covid. I had covid about 18 months ago. Took me 6 months to get over it. I was not eligible for the vax at that time.

I got fully vaxed. Caught it a second time about 6 months ago. The vax plus natural immunity gave me very few symptoms. Over it in 10 days.
