I think it was just a whole thing done to try to make Biden look good, especially on the international scene, since he's been doing such a bad job. Nobody even gives a shit about al-Qaeda anymore, and I doubt they've even been plotting to do anything to the U. S. or anybody else. Just like Bush and Obama knew where bin Laden was the whole time, I'm sure Biden's crew knew Al-Zawahiri was there the whole time too, they just decided now to kill him as a political publicity stunt.
