How do you react when someone starts off with "I speak for all Americans when I say"?

If they tell you they "like soccer," they're either a Canadian spy, an immigrant who became a citizen later, or a European doing their best American accent. And if they refer to soccer as "football," then shoot them on site! And if they try to claim "metric is better," SHOOT THEM TWICE! Center mass! That's "center" with an "er!" Literally no American in the existence of the country has ever liked soccer. We don't even employ Americans on our own soccer team! All Americans love The Weeknd (the singer), and all Americans HATE the most boring-ass sport on the planet, soccer. Trust me on this.

When people use the words like "all, always, never, etc", I don't take it too seriously unless it's obvious that it's hyperbole.

I don't think I have ever in my life heard someone say they speak for all Americans, except in political speeches that aren't meant to be literal.
