What comes to your mind when you hear the word "America"?

An extreme burger, the American flag, the bald eagle, guns, automatic rifles, cops, idiotic measurement units and the world.
Well, the way of thought that (North America) is the world.
Other things coming to mind are native Americans, wild west, rainforest natives and the continent of South and North America.
The matrix.
The films? xD
Yes lolz
I have yet to see those but I own all of them xD
Lolz. Its worth a look, even a movie marathon with popcorn and shit. πΏπΏπ¬πΊ
One day I'll get around to it π I've got so many on my list to watch but not enough time
Story of my life, lolz

After living in different countries before this one I think of it as a country for the rich or at least the very financially stable. America, the so-called richest, most powerful country on Earth is horrible place to be if you have nothing. For a country that has so much it is has a abnormal amount of poverty.
Apparently , of those non-american who posted in this question, I'm the only one who likes USA lol
xD Nice to meet a fellow optimist!
Old whatisname Brump, Drump, Grump, you know who I mean!!
No, I don't know what you mean! xD
Obesity, education issue, Trump, shootings, weird Florida crimes, good films and the MCU Captain America with his moral values and judgement that the USA wishes it still stood for.

The manifestation of thousands of years of struggle against tyranny, idiots, and scarcity.
The constant never ending fight to protect the humans rights of the individual, from those who think they know what's best for other people.
I think of poverty and capitalism. I also think of tourist hot spots like Florida or Washington DC or Atlantic Oceans.
For some reason I see a vision of a fallen flag 200 years from now

When i was a child and i heard the word America... mind you this was a long.. long time ago... but what came to mind was... the greatest country on earth... a place that if you worked hard you could be and do anything you could dream of... a country that stood together in solidarity and patriotism we knew or neighbours a place where you were free to say what you wanted to say , think what you wanted to think and if someone tried to take your god givin rights from the people... then the people had the courage to stand against tyrany because our votes , rights, and lives mattered... no matter race , creed or religious beliefs. .. thats what i was told... today.. what comes to mind when i hear this word America? shame... cowardly... fearfull... weak... divided tyrannical... hypocritical... selfish... disillusioned... soft.. spoild.. lazy... enslaved... Hope.
