What do you think of Americans who are afraid of Muslims?

Every time I ask a question related to Islam I see many Americans crying because in the United Arab Emirates there is no feminism or gay marriage.

In the United States, mothers kill their own babies by aborting them, women are promiscuous, they spend their time invading countries and killing civilians in Africa and Asia and yet they have the nerve to complain about the United Arab Emirates.

I never really had any fear of Muslims, but to answer Your question when a lot of Americans think of Muslims the first thought is of someone like Osama Bin Laden or ISIS. I have met quite a few Muslims and this may be why I really do not have any fear of Muslims. To be honest with You there is more to be feared about White American Christians. The Ku Klux Klan is just a Terrorist Organization who use Christianity as their foundation, they have the same idealogy as a Terrorist in the Middle East who use Islam as their foundation, like Mid Eastern Terrorists the Ku Klux Klan wears masks and have been known to plant bombs , destroy, and kill people who are not white. The Muslims I have met don't drink or participate in drug activity and definitely are not killers. I have had good conversation with Muslims and the Muslims I have met did not even make a statement of hate after learning I am a Jew. One Muslim pointed out a similarity of not eating pork , We both prefer our meat slaughtered humanely. Fear of someone because of their spiritual belief is pure ignorance

Americans tend to live in a mental and social bubble.

Most can't name three countries and their capitals, so it's nothing to worry about what they like, or are afraid of.

Not to mention Americans tend to kill more Americans and foreigners than any other country, and imprison more than Russia and China combined. Yet laughingly call themselves "land of the free". More like "land of the free shot" as you need to do a school shooting to fit into the community there.

As for the Islamophobia in the USA. It's still in fourth place behind antisemitism, Sinophobia and Russiphobia. You'll never meet a more insecure, schizophrenic and batshit people than Americans. It's one reason they don't improve healthcare - they would need to put most of the population into asylums.

Now many Americans could find it on a world map, but the ones who at least know something about that part of the world think it's remarkably modern compared to the rest of the Islamic World, along with the smaller Gulf states, which are also relatively modern.

UAE is one of the least known, least important countries on the planet. They have no say in anything worthwhile. They are just rich and that is it. Very small country with absolutely no effect in the world. There are much more powerful countries in the world and in Muslim countries and UAE is NOT one of them.

Most Muslims are harmless, and don't actually follow proper islam. Some Muslims are radical, a big chunk, but not all. The UAE in no way follows proper islam.

Having interacted with multiple Muslims over the past decade I can tell you, that the majority of them possess at least some radical views. It's just that the majority of sane minded Muslims, will never actually act on them. That being said, a lot of Muslims are robbers. Not like muggers, but they will scam you and feel it's okay to lie to survive.
The ironic thing is that the so called "Proper Muslims", will never do this, but these happened to be the same Muslims that hold radical views. Of course no one will rob you, if they will get their hand chopped off. So they're only "proper" because they're being intimidated.

Muslims are very strange, and none of them can actually agree on how the religion should be practiced.

I personally like the Sufis, because they do their own thing and don't bother anyone

@KostasKouvalis I live in a Muslim country. There are some things to consider here:
1) Muslims in the west are more radical than Muslims in actual Muslim countries. They feel alienated so they become even more conservative
2) Being robbers or so on is common when you're a minority or poor. It's not really directly caused by Islam
3) in Muslim countries it really depends on your social class. Rich and upper middle class people here are rarely radical. For example, I have many Muslim friends in that category. They don't wear the hijab or pray daily.
4) islam is actually radical. Islam says that women must wear the hijab, obey their husbands, people who disrespect the prophet must be executed, etc...
But not all Muslims care about proper Islam, or convince themselves that it's somehow ok to do things that are against Islam. Just lime Christian girls who don't dress modeslty and somehow say it's OK. There are even Muslims who drink but still believe in Islam. I would be open to discussing this more if you really wanna know more
