So, according to Jordan (and countless others, apparently) there should be different legal rules for people who hold/held the office of President, and they should be protected from legally-obtained and executed search warrants or any sort of investigations?
I would say don't know, but honestly I don't care because they are both equally as stupid. Yes there is no equivalency, because we as normal people don't play politics at that level and we were not former President of the United States.
Lets not pretend we are in good hands regardless... they lost me on the whole Hillary sever bullshit, and then the Trump Russian conspiracy bullshit... what really happened to either of them? Laws don't work retroactively, so Obama & Hillary couldn't be prosecuted for a law that didn't exist yet, whether they would have been guilty, or not.

It is dumb because the FBI can already get a warrant and search the house of a regular American citizen. They can lie to you to entrap you, then can violate your rights.

The real question you should be asking is why Democrats are so willing to believe every allegation when so many have already been disproven. Maybe you should do some research about the arrests of people as a result of Jan. 6. The FBI raiding homes throughout the country and holding people in federal jail for months, because they protested without a permit. Or for simple trespassing. Maybe investigate the "kidnapping" plot in Michigan. I worked FBI for 6yrs, guess how many people I arrested or know of being arrested for protesting/picketing without a permit? And yes, that includes capitol grounds.
