who described in one of his writings that when he ate a Madeleine he would instantly go back to his childhood and relive fond memories of those times.

My childhood wasn’t especially nice. I don’t remember anything very fondly. There was a lot of abuse. But once in a great while, if they are available, I’ll have a madeleine and think of Proust, and Paris and France, and wonder if I’ll ever go there again to see more of France. But poverty, poverty. I would never have the resources to see France how I would really like to see her. Are you familiar with the photographer Eugene Atget?
My Madeleine is the Pasta with homemade pesto, that’s a genovese sauce made with basil, pine nuts, oil, ricotta cheese and garlic.
Its a sauce you can find at supermarket but it’s simple to do at home, and doing it at home makes it tastier!
I ate it a lot when I was little and it reminds me when my grandparents (from both sides) made that kind of sauce and I remember about the moment spent with them, when I was child and every summer I went to their homes for long periods.

Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. That's like my time capsule to the past. Especially if they're on a Game Boy Color.
I have many. Mostly nostalgia videos, or toys.
But sometimes, just a smell, or a sound, can trigger a familiar yet distant feeling. Not a memory exactly, more like a "feel memory". As if my mind and body suddenly moved back in time for a second and felt the same thing I did back then.
I don't have a lot of fond memories in general
