I didn't see that post, but if that's exactly how it was worded, then I imagine it probably got removed because it's not a question.

If it's worded as a statement, then it would have been in violation of the site posting guidelines, and not necessarily politically motivated:

I say this as a moderator who is more left leaning, politically, but as I said: I never saw it, but it would have been justified to remove it based on the guidelines.

If that quoted text was your question, it was removed because there is no question, just a statement, and that violates G@G rules. Moderators/admins just did their job.
