For example slavery is if anything, the opposite of freedom. It's also immoral. When you take someone else's property, or their effort, time, or health through trickery, or take their life by murder, it takes from their freedom, and all of it is immoral. Do you think the statement that morality and freedom are directly proportional is 100% accurate?

I think humanity is enslaved by a few under capitalism and because we live in a monetary profit motive system there is a lot of injustice and immoral behavior

I think the idea of Freedom as the Right to do, get, and treat all others any sort of way to live for the day o my way is a wrongly defined ad understanding of Freedom. And….
without Morality (basic Biblical precepts) there is no restraining agent that keeps Society from twisting the intention of Freedom: to live peaceable while incorporating similarities and differences under mutual identity and Being as created images of God.

Slavery and freedom are not the only opposites of the spectrum and misrepresents what you're actually asking. No, it's not directly linked. Yes, freedom from slavery is moral. Is freedom from law moral? Is freedom from criticism moral? We all abide under constriction of some sense, there is no nor will there ever be this romanticized notion of absolute freedom and a good thing too. Because man is far too imperfect to be left to their own devices.

Because a person that you just described seems to have freedom and none of the morality. Yet even a slave can have morals. So can a free man. He doesn't have to have slaves or steal through trickery. Freedom is the ability to choose for oneself. Morality directs someone's path to do good. A free person doesn't have to have morals.

Only outlaws and criminals have true freedom. But that freedom lasts only until they are caught and prosecuted.

Normal people live under laws and rules, and have set freedoms only under those.
