The presidents get a lot of credit for things they don't do.

Like Obama. Credited to some as the greatest president we've ever had. But can you name one thing he's done? Don't say affordable healthcare. Because that's just a tax.

People perceive the presidency as something it's NOT. All it really is. Is a popularity contest. That being said.

If people are confident in who is "running" the country. They will be confident in doing things like investing in a pipeline that could really strengthen our infrastructure and diminish our dependency on foreign oil. On the other hand. If that pipe line gets shut down. And millions of dollars are lost. People tend to lose confidence in our leadership.

On top of that. If you just up and leave billions of dollars worth of equipment in a foreign country. That might sting a little.

Let's not forget about sending foreign aid to a country at war on the other side of the world.

Add on a few stimulus checks to every American. And probably a lot of illegal immigrants as well. That really tents to deflate the buying power of the dollar.

Now we are where we are today. Because the truth is. Inflation is a tax on savings and the future.

Maybe because Uncle Joe’s handlers have rammed through legislation that must be funded by exponentially increasing the money supply and subsidizes various things or makes direct payments to certain (favored) people and corporate interests, all of which is inherently inflationary. The Law of Supply and Demand always works. It will not be defeated. I find it hilarious that the Inflation Reduction Act seems designed to cause inflation, just like the Patriot Act was designed for the very unpatriotic purpose of surveilling and oppressing the population.

dHe killed the fossil fuel industry in America and ended America's energy independence. this causes fuel prices to rise which caused the prices of everything else it rise. He also was responsible for pumping billions of dollars into the economy in the form of direct payments to anyone who wanted them. He was also responsible for most of the supply chain problems which caused a scarcity of goods which further drove up prices.
