The Biden Administration isn't to fully blame for Inflation, but they 100% did it make it magnitudes worse with all this reckless spending (and most of that won't benefit everyday Americans whatsoever; he's literally just robbing the poor and giving it to the rich). But people always blame the current president when stuff goes down anyway, regardless of being Democrat or Republican. The Biden camp made things MUCH worse though, and continues to, by now collecting on China's debt they owe the US, or helping the American people.

Biden stopping our drilling, causing a large rise in fuel prices (over 100% increase) caused the inflation, along with vaccine mandates that ended many people's jobs, which kept products out at sea and not being delivered. Fuel prices increasing (directly caused by Biden) caused prices of all goods that need delivery to increase. That includes food, other necessities, and luxuries.
Biden's executive orders are the things that changed policies which lead to ruining our economy. He isn't the only cause though. Newsom's vaccine mandates which lost many port and transportation jobs delayed many goods and increased prices as well.11 Reply- +1 y
Globalization doesn’t directly correlate to inflation. Russia controls a third of the oil in Europe which causes economic contagion. The Biden administration was focused on negative externalities concerning the environment. A little too much in my opinion. Opening the key stone pipeline would lower the price. This really has little to do with Biden and has a lot more to do with the decisions of the federal reserve and their rampant asset/bond purchases.
+1 yI think people blame President Biden because they listen to the right wing media. They will blame him if it snows and turns to ice. They blame him for everything instead of offering some concrete alternatives. Right now I don't mind paying more for gas and groceries. I am fortunate enough to not be too thrown off by that. Right now the USA is involved in the defense of a democracy in Europe. We can tighten our belts a little bit. Think about what the people of Ukraine are going through right now. I'd be willing to bet that they'd trade us with our inflation in a heartbeat.

@exitseven do your research instead of listening to fox. We are STILL exporting oil.

Yeah, Biden is the Patsy. He’s not smart enough to cause this sort of chaos alone. The fed is responsible for massively increasing the money supply to drive hyper inflation. They have been playing this game since they were established. They have been doubling the money supply every 8.8 years on average, but now they are trying to destroy the dollar. Their goal is to shift to a digital world currency that they can use to track and oppress people. People should just decide to destroy the fed instead. Everything is lined up to do just that. Go back to the gold standard and cut out the bankers. They don’t have legal authority to make decisions about our money supply…

+1 y1) He has reduced oil production in US and buys oil from others. Oil is a huge expense that effects everything.
2) Money printing , which is a huge inflationary factor , makes more dollars chase fewer goods. He has printed more money than any President.
3) His party , which he leads and is responsible for, kept economy closed way too long causing empty shelves and people to lose jobs. Caused millions of businesses to go out of business. Less competition , higher prices.
4) His masks and shot mandates got people fired or forced people to quit , which caused higher pay to replace workers (inflationary).
In short , he has done nothing right yet. He did finally take oil revenue away from Russia.10 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt's both Biden and the Federal Reserve. It's hard to fully separate Biden from the Fed's mismanagement, though. Whole the Fed is supposed to be independent, it allowed itself to be influenced by the administration's stupid pronouncements about inflation being "transitory". There's also most establishment economists buying into that idea as well the belief that expansionist monetary policy was no longer tied to inflation. All thought there were new rules of economics only they were smart enough to understand, but they turned out to be tragically incompetent.
00 Reply27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Biden and his handlers decimated America's energy independence from day 1. When the cost of energy goes up. the price of everything goes up. Also the Infrastructure Bill made the deficit larger and causes the value of the dollar to weaken which also makes prices rise. These were self inflicted wounds.

+1 yBecause republicans are too dumb to critique their own economics for kindergartners which they have freebased since Reagan. Forget it. Biden is on "the wrong team" ... Even though Biden is an ultra right wing fascist racist militarist Dem, he's still not Nazi enough for these lunatics who think a republican slug can wave a wand and suddenly make them able to afford to drive their fat arse up to Krispy Kreme again. They can Starve for all I care bro
00 Reply 8.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The whole money printing thing was the democrat's idea and the fact that Biden did not want the US to be energy independent is one of the biggest reasons the currency is inflating right now.
Once gas prices rise, everything else follows suit because gas is needed to transport them.10 Reply- 6.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

Very simply, that means that the President is always blamed for failures and weaknesses. That's pretty much true for teh leader of any country.00 Reply 3.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The strength of the Dollar is based on "The full faith and credit" of the Federal Government. Biden has shown that he has not command of any situation. He is weak. No party affiliation. All professional politicians are corrupt.
10 Reply8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Well, what were the effects of his policies and that of Congress? Remember, nothing happens in a vacuum when it comes to an economy. The Fed has been running an ultra-loose policy for years.

For what, printing more money with nothing to back it up because Joe TOLD THEM TO! Years before Joe stole the election, Monopoly money was already worth more than "real" money!!
+1 yGotta blame someone. It's not like we should be expected to take consumer responsibility for our wayward spending habits.
00 Reply18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yeah, the more educated know the complexities of an economy. But I still think the president’s first job is to be a punching bag. So I’m fine with all memes. Keeps the White House on their toes trying to hedge inflation.

And both aisles of the political spectrum make greedy use of this.
No, higher income taxation does not make the economy in ruins. Plenty of papers suggest the optimal top marginal income tax rate should be between 75% and 80%.
And no, not tackling climate change to the fullest degree will not collapse the economy either

I'm betting they were perfect until January 20, 2021. Works of art that have literally gone to shit since Biden. I'm sure your dumps were solid and perfectly cylindrical under Trump. Fucking sleepy Joe.
Opinion Owner+1 y@TheBigWhistle I think so!
Why do people blame Joe Biden for inflation?
