Liberals tend to focus more on social issues rather than economics and women do tend to be more empathetic, most of the news tend to favor democrats, also most professors are leftists and don’t talk kindly about conservatives/right wingers (at least in my experience) so it’s not that surprising. No, I do not favor women, Christian conservatism does, because women in the traditional family did not have to work and were supported by their husbands, nor did they have to go to war. The belief that the past was macho is an invention of historical revisionism. Women who today consider themselves conservative do so with the aim of getting a submissive husband who supports them, gives them money, and with the aim of not working. I am in favor of Muslim conservatism, especially in Saudi, where women are nothing more than pets.

I see that you're 23, so I just want to let you know that I'm factoring that into how I want to approach this discussion with you because this is going to sound obvious at first, but it'll be deeper the more you think about it.

One of the things that you're probably going to see as you go through your 20s (at least, this is what I noticed) is just how true it is that the only power in this world that matters (in society at large) is money. Family power is economic. Sexual power is legit, but it's not as influential as someone would intuitively think and it boils down to a form of bargained-for compensation. Political power boils down to controlling the way money changes hands. Friendships are generally going to be stronger where money is involved as well (although you'll want to be mindful of that).

There is only one singularly reliable reason for someone to support any political ideology, and that's money. Right now, liberalism happens to be where the money is. I'm telling you this because you need to figure out how to incentivize people to make changes that you want to see in the world by making it profitable for them to go along with you.
