Based on my experience, I noticed that WhatsApp (or any other social) statuses are more than likely exact opposites of how the person truly is in real life. I mean,, hypocritical behavior is seen more often than ever.
People also like to live in sort of a bubble, it seems. They just want to be happy. Be it true happy or false happy, I don't believe it matters.
I also noticed that people just want to showcase their seemingly one-moment perfect life as if it is their whole life. I find it to be counterintuitive as posting specific moments can lead to the mounting of pressure, and then the cycle continues on and on. And may just burst the bubble.
What have been your observations?
I never put status, on any social. All of my uploads on IG are of nature or of things that I own and feel like showing others. Nothing personal on it. I try to be as emotionally distant as possible.
