I have a friend who I’ll air out my problems to and he’s happy to listen. I’m not as open about it with my friends and family irl just because it feels like I’m burdening them
Same person but less shy
Thank you!

I'm a bit different in person since I'm very shy
I've heard you say you're shy in person before but I still barely believe it...
@matchrestore haha not sure why people online don't believe it. I guess I type confident
Yeah, you come off as more confident than most of the regulars on this site.
Choose d cause it sounds deep
I’m the same. I might be shy for about an hour or two but in the end, I talk waaaay too much. I also tend to overshare on my past, especially inappropriate topics which just fuel my energy. I’m boy crazy but I also tire of people quickly/easily (mostly fam/friends/acquaintances) so I randomly isolate myself every now and again then pop back up when I feel like it. I don’t believe in longterm commitment/loyalty when it comes to a friendships nor jobs. Im routine but like to rotate the things I do and when I I talk to people. Might only see me every other month or a few times a year. So yea I’m pretty much the same.
I'm the same person and I always like to be the same person at all times that's what I like about myself
Real world or internet
I still get shy I'm still a smart-ass I still want to laugh I like to get deep I like helping people and you have to be the same person all the way through
I look at it like this if you're not then basically you're lying to yourself and if you're lying to yourself you're lying to somebody else and that's just not cool
Because to me that kind of means that you don't like yourself and I like myself
I'm slowly becoming the same person. I'm sour on the outside, uncaring of what you think and waiting for some mofo to give me an excuse to defend myself or fight. Buuut if can get past the sourness or I see something in them, they see the rose side.
This question is like asking if we are the same person from day to day. It’s complicated. We never wake up, feeling the same or thinking the same one day to the next. We have different moods, and emotions that express differently some days and other days not. Even if it’s the same emotion day after day it often may not apply or appear in the same frame of context from one day to the next.
In summation, I am who I am, and I am what I am. From one day to the next I might be something else, but I am always what I choose to be. It’s a complicated answer; because I’m a bit of a complicated person.
That said, I feel it says much of an answer so I can give to a very complex question.
Good question, I like the depth!
Also good alternatives!
It depend on the person.
Online I have time to reread, adjust and structure my argument according to the way the internet works.. like how easy it is to angle what people say away from what they are trying to say. Among other things...
IRL, it's only well put if I am drunk, high or with someone that is enough at peace to let me think it through and then correct/adjust.
More or less the same, but with differences. I don't show much emotion, but use emojis regularly. Maybe it's because I'm tired most of the time, but I don't really respond emotionally in an externally visible way, even when internally feeling one or another way about something. Online, with emojis, I can express my feeling about something (ex: smiley). In-person, I'm often too tired to show any kind of emotion.
i am the same person online as i am in real life. tho i am a slightly different person while speaking English than i am speaking in my native language.
I'm the same. Only I'll give you coffee while we talk.
Im far less talkative offline. But personality and temperament wise, it is me, 100%
I voted the third option because it depends on who I am with. I am not the same person, because online you get to actually see me and my thoughts. In public I smile, wave and move along. I'm the real me around my friends.
The same, but my wording is a bit more subtle as to not hurt other's feelings when trying to get a message across.
I'm a different person online. I'm more vocal about my opinions and I'm funnier. I think that people who know me in person would be shocked if they saw my posts on here. 😂😂
I’m what you see is what you get. I don’t have an alter ego.
Similar, I'm passionate about the same things online as in real life, but I'm more open about some topics online than with most people in real life.
I'm more serious in RL because misinterpretation leads to weird situations in RL. In fora and social media it doesn't really matter because everyone is replaceable there, inclusive me.
I'm way more confident online than offline since online I care less about what people think about me.
Maybe a bit more quiet in real life, at least avoiding controversy when I can, depending on who I'm with.
In reality, im way more calm. I just enjoying not giving a fuck. Just, little problems of people or just topics of discussion not interesting. Or i should say-enjoying the life. Online, i trying to answer the questions, most of the questions į answered, in reality į dont give a fuck ABOUT.
I am just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill guy both online and in real life.
I use less big words in real life cause people hate show offs.
Same person. I am quite nice to people in real life and online. And when someone is mean i usually ignore them irl and block them online
Totally different. I never lie online, but I give the impression of being someone very different from what I am in real life. I go online for escapism, I can go to real life whenever I want.
i'm the same i think i'm serious online though and very opinionated, irl i'm not i give my opinion but most of the time i'm just chill
I am a little more direct because written and spoken English are vastly different forms of communication.
I'm only a little different online. I'm more direct than I normally am in person, but that's about it.
I’m definitely more open when I am on line, and less shy too.
I'm the same person, I don't want people to think I'm someone whom I'm not, I'm pretty much an open book.
Same.
Unbothered and to myself 💁🏿♀️
In real i'm more over introvert, online? I'm Lucifer unleashed...🤗😈
100% realist. I say what I mean and mean what I say 😃
same person exactly, haha. what you see on here is exactly what you get in person, unfortunately for everyone who interacts with me.
I am not exactly the same because irl I don't reply to random weird dudes like i do here.🤣🤣
I don’t have much of an online presence but when I do I’d like to think I’m the same
I am the same Exitseven that you have all grown to love.
60 percent of people are the same person in real life and online LOL.
Yeah, right. Bullshit if I've ever heard any.
I guess it'd depends on my mood at the time
Same except in real life I have guitars around me most of the time.
it's really really hard unless... we are truly good...
I hope then words are actions
I am totally different LOL
Depends on the person.
Definitely the same
I’m the same person
I'm the same as my profile pic:)
I try to keep things consistent.
The same
Typically the same, but less shy sometimes online.
Same on here as i am in real life
I don't know, I don't talk to people
Yeah, I'm perfect
