If it were just me and her, I'd be thinking: "Where can we fetch some weapons? Where should we pitch a tent? Which climate is a reasonable compromise for us both? When spring hits, we'll need a garden. Know anything about gardening?"

Not sure how long we'd survive, if at all. But I least I wouldn't face the end alone.
