If Trump actually get arrested, can we expect the usual "cops and US justice system is corrupt" crowd to call his arrest corrupt?

You know the types who says the police and US justice system is corrupt... The types who claims to want equality. Remember how for example they called Rittenhouse's verdict corrupt? We can expect them to do the same if Trump is arrested, right? For the sake of equality?

Why? Would it be unjustified? Would it be because of the colour of his skin, or his religion? Protesting corruption is about the corrupt. Or is this the blind spot authoritarians have where everything is either 100% (like they are) or 100% wrong. Being 99% right is just as bad as being completely wrong, right?

@USLegionary It would be, of course. Is that the case with Trump? Or did he really take home documents that don't belong to him and refuse legal requests to give them back? And then lie about having given them all back. (None of the crimes the FBI are looking into say anything about the classification of the documents, just their nature.)

Even if he is arrested, that doesn’t change how I feel about the legal justice system. Like “oh wow, a rich politician was held accountable” that’s like less than 1% of the problems. Big companies will still get away with killing people and getting slap on the wrist fines, police will largely be above the law, politicians will still make backroom deals. Trump being arrested would probably be more of a show “look, we arrested uh guy” scapegoat distraction

Trump just got a judge he appointed and the (still Republican) senate confirmed after he'd lost the election to do his bidding, without even hearing from the DoJ. No corruption there, nosir!

Well it's clearly political. Trump announces he might run and the FBI kick his door down. Wasn't so long ago that Obama was using the IRS to intimidate Obama critics and hillary using the fbi to intimidate Bill Clinton's victims.

What should be of concern is that Biden may committ trillions of dollars in another taxpayer funded gift to the banks and selling it as a measure to pay off some people's student loans.

Another concern is all those 80,000 extra armed IRS agents recruited that are going to be used to tax the bejesus out ordinary taxpayers.

@USLegionary Well that's clearly a pack of lies. The government had been asking for 18 months for their documents back. Trump gave back some after 12, months later gave back more and promised that was all of them, then the FBI (still headed by Chris Wray, a Trump appointee) with probable cause and a warrant signed by a Trump appointed judge, found even more documents that "weren't there", were "planted", and were "declassified anyway".

The student loans are not bank loans, they're from the federal government, which is why (a) Biden can do it, and (b) the money doesn't go to the banks.

Finally, almost no IRS agents are armed, they're office workers, and they won't increase audits on people earning under $400,000 a year above today's levels.

The Rittenhouse Verdict was just and correct.

When Hillary Clinton was in a similar problem with her emails, the FBI did not raid her house, they politely asked her to come in to the FRBI Office with her Lawyer, and answer aa few questions, OFF THE RECORD!!!
She was not made to take th3e Oath to tell the truth or anything else.

If Trump is arrested without any real evidence against him or if it is obvious the evidence was planted I think that more than the usual "cops and US Justice System is corrupt" will happen.
