Will Donald Trump indictments really get him arrested or is it just all because next year is election year?

If it wasn't New York, I'd say there's a 0% chance because the case is paper-thin, there's a clear conflict of interests with the DA, the charges have been inflated and taken out of context to make them felonious (and also harder to prove), and the star witness has already purjered himself in court in the past (and is himself also more directly guilty of the crimes in question anyway). Furthermore, the charges are being levied against Trump's organization moreso than the man himself, which makes it very easy for a decent lawyer to at least prove plausible deniability or ignorance. It seems more like a distraction to get people talking about anything other than the state of the US right now while also all but ensuring Trump will be the Republican nominee in 2024, which according to democratic think tanks, is more winnable scenario than going against DeSantis. The thing about New York (as well as Austin, DC, and another city I don't remember right now) is that it's a star chamber; if the people in charge (Democrats) want a guilty verdict in those places, they are known to produce it even with overwhelming evidence to the contrary, though this is usually used against much lower profile people than a former president and primary political opponent of the current president. The optics of this already look pretty underwhelming at best, and abysmal at worst, so I doubt they'd find him guilty of all charges. They will probably quietly knock it down to something much less ridiculous and charge a fine, which is what happens 99.9% of the time whenever campaign finance related cases come up - just ask Hillary Clinton. I expect that Alvin Bragg will also get replaced over this, because it looks like he has become a huge liability and potentially a loose end.

I see clowns here trying to deflect and have the left investigated. There are a ton of crimes on Trump that still have not been charged, but they will. As for the left, the last time the right went after the left it was when they tried to get Hillary Clinton jailed for Benghazi. The Republicans blamed her for the disaster there. Hillary volunteered to sit in hearings giving testimony. Hour after hour she stayed and explained. Turns out, she had asked for more money to bolster the security there, but the Republicans controlling the money refused to protect the embassy, causing it to be overrun. That is now well documented fact! And Trump was the one blaming her and he was the one who had the Right withhold the needed money which then caused the disaster!

If Trump gets the nomination, he'll start with 206 votes in the bag. He will NOT win Georgia - not after the phone call. He will NOT win Michigan or Pennsylvania. The Dems will have 224 in the bag. They key states in this election will be Illinois, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, Wisconsin and Maryland. If the R's have any brains left, they won't even nominate him.

Even liberal law professors like Alan Dershowitz are saying that the the charges that Trump has been charged with would have never made it past the grand jury except that the purpose of this whole thing is not to seek justice but to prevent the front runner in the 2024 presidential election from reclaiming the presidency.

Have you actually read the indictments? Most of it is beyond the statute of limitations, and the rest is just invalid. It's political bullshit nothing more. Even the dems say that the indictment doesn't hold water, and the district attorney in NY overstepped his jurisdiction.
