We don’t have communities where I live.. haha. I live in a big city, so communities here are not really a thing, but in the countryside, the concept of communities is still very much alive and people are quite friendly.

I could take my high school as a community (I recently graduated, finally! *does happy dance*) and even there, I wasn’t really “well known”, I most often kept to myself and didn’t talk to many people. I liked it that way. My older brother, on the other hand, was very well known. Even his seniors and juniors knew him. He was the school prefect and all the teachers adored him. My teachers liked me as well, but I didn’t like some of them… lol. I loved my English teacher though. She was an absolute sweetheart!

Yes. I’ve walked around training various kinds of working dogs since the mid 90’s. People remember each of my dog tattoos too. It’s nice to catch them looking and smiling as if thinking about them. Brings tears to my own eyes.

yes... there's a very strong sense of community around here, although not a small population or region where everyone knows each other, there's a few circles in which I am well known either for myself or my family/extended family... lol, and I know many others as well
