How many GaG users here conceal carry? What made you decide to do that?

I should. I heard it's easy in my county. But I keep procrastinating.

In all my years, I never ran into a situation where I needed a gun. Even when I spent 20 years driving into every part of Los Angeles County for my job (not at night). I was never worried.

But I've always liked guns and have owned them since I was 16. So, with the insanity of incessant "gun control" measures by Democrats (especially here in California), I want the right to carry if I want to. It could definitely come in handy.

I know some of my uncles have guns cause they are worried about being killed by jealous thugs who want their money. We have drug dealers walking distance from our house and do not own any weapons, when you mind your own business and avoid dangerous situations, your chances of death are lower than your chances of winning the lottery, at least in our overpriced neighbourhood.

Unless licenced, here in the UK it's illegal to carry any firearms or any type of offensive weapons.

Do you honestly think anyone will admit they conceal carry? Kinda defeats the point, doesn't it? People may admit they have gun (s), but after that... nuthin!

I have a permit to conceal carry but I really do not plan on bring my gun with me. I keep it at home and take it to the range. I got the conceal carry permit in case I need to carry it someday.
