What is your opinion on influencers on here?

I find some to be extremely biased and ignorant but some to be ok.

I pay absolutely zero attention to who’s labeled as what around here. I think it’s all fabricated by the site to encourage people to use it and justify the fees for advertisers due to the increased traffic. We never used to have it, then maybe like four or five years ago they started with these goofy titles, “influencer”, “editor”, “master”, “guru”, “yoda”…. like what are we even doing?😂 I just imagine aspiring to a GAG title of any sort lmfao. I don’t even know what title or titles I have, I just log in when I’m bored, and I answer questions I feel like answering. I can’t picture thinking any deeper about this place than that.

Influencers have earned a lot of Xper points; nothing more. For the most part, that explains our experiences. I dislike the majority of them. They seem to have no lives, they sit here all day asking stupid questions or posting equally useless opinions. They certainly know the algorithm for collecting posts. I wonder if they're paid to generate content.

There's one that seems to comment on a lot of my opinions. She splains in tiresome detail the most inane points. Yawn. I wonder if it'd help if I blocked her.

I mean.. Influencers are just people with some amount of influence in an industry. David Attenborough is an influencer. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an influencer. Steve Irwin was an influencer. This new wave of young people either being influencers or pretending to be is just a new page in a very old book that has some very respectable and important figures in it.

Hehe, they have the influencer title, but merely because they posted a ton. They're don't actually have any real influence on most users in my opinion
