Let's give them their true name "advertisers" or "salesmen" because that's what they are. You have to earn a right to influence people through building up years of experience not just opening a YouTube channel.

Really it's just a way for companies to bypass advertising regulations. You can get influencers to make unfounded or even illegal claims that wouldn't be allowed through normal adverts.
