Do you review the sex predator list in your area?

This is especially for men! You need to see what other men are being busted for. If you have problems, GET HELP!! So you don't ruin your life and someone elses. Most of those on the list are males. There's too many desperate males and you get caught up doing wrong, it is not worth it. Do right, up your game, improve your life... and be well informed and careful.

Women should be aware that these men are being released and live near them. Frankly, I think such men should be required to make a public appearance periodically and confess to the facts in front of others who wish to hear, as part of their therapy and improvement in life.

What? On my 3,000 item list of to-dos, this doesn't even make the list.

Of course most of the list of sexual assaulters are males. Males are designed by nature to be the sexual aggressors, so some of them are going to have control issues. It's unfortunate, but one of those facts of nature we have to live with since it has been around since the beginning of life on earth.

I think the idea of regularly checking this list though is a little bit off and obsessed in itself and probably means that the person doing that needs some therapy too just like the ones who do these terrible things to others.

Human nature never changes. All we can do as a society is to make sure that those who do these things are adequately punished to deter them, which to me means the death penalty... at least for second time offenders.

But no matter what you do there will always be some level of male sexual assaulters since you cannot change human nature.

I have several times through out the years. Mostly to see if I can get a lead on the guy that kidnapped and molested me as a kid. But I have not done so for I don't know how long. Simply because I was trying to get a lead on him for revenge. I know myself well enough that if I did manage to track him down, I'd seek revenge. While some might say I'd be justified for doing so, you never know how a jury will vote. So I decided to leave it alone.

Also I’m genuinely surprised sex offenders are being allowed to walk free these days, I mean aren’t a lot of them professional con artists that know how to make themselves look like good guys so they can get what they want?

I get the feeling that a lot of people are being turned loose. some of the guys on my list appear to not have served much time. I think we all need educated on the prison/reform system realities.
I find it really odd as well people who aren't really dangerous in general are jailed but those who may be very dangerous are turned loose... so it appears.

I'm somewhat confused by having such a "list" being available, yet I couldn't find such a list for released murderers or violent attackers that crippled someone.

I do not, I'm not bothered by people who have been caught. It's the ones who haven't been caught that I worry about. The seemingly nice female dog that moved into the house next to mine -- she probably ties up teenage boys in her basement and bribes them with alcohol and no one will ever know.

I get an automatic email feed in one area. The other I check my local police reports. I find it very educational. In one case, I used to work with a fella.

There really should be education and therapy for all men, there's so many challenges they face relationally. It seems more healthy to address issues up front and devise solutions to help them reach their relational goals rather than violate others and trash their image.
