Why do the whites assume minorities should grieve for Queen Elizabeth when whites never mourn the deaths of Asian, African or Mexican Monarchies?

Who is expecting anyone to morn? The only thing unusual about this monarch is she happened to be queen of a monarchy which at one point commanded 1/4th of the world.

Mexico, along with the rest of Latin America like the USA are all proud Republics that don't like monarchs, the only Monarchs that did manage to take over their countries are generally seen as tyrants.

The only people who care about the monarch in theses republics only do so out of a certain romanticism and pick the Brutish monarch because the brutish monarch ruled 1/4th of the world, including 15 of our States.

That's a good question. I guess it's because we live in a world where white people and Western countries are the center of the attention. The media sell the idea that everything (the good and the bad) that happens in the West is much more important than what happens in other continents and with non-white people.

It shouldn't be like that. We're all important and Asian, African and American problems are world's problems.

That being said, of course the loss of Queen Elizabeth is to be mourned, but if she wasn't white or European she wouldn't get much attention.

I dont assume anything, as someone of Irish descent as well as Scottish and have valid reason to dislike the queen, its still in my nature to be kind because regardless of who she is and what she represents... Nobody asked you to mourn just like Africans etc don't expect us to mourn one of their figureheads, be respectful of others is all anyine asks. No one is expecting anyone to grieve the loss of someone, I find it absolutely disgusting that people have fled to social media to say vile things about her. I guarantee if it were a African or Asian monarchy that white people didn’t like, we wouldn’t dare disrespect them. It’s in most peoples nature to be kind.

Why should anybody grieve for someone regardless of race if they had no direct connection to them, much less a political leader? No one is obligated to mourn for someone they feel nothing for, that would be disingenuous and disrespectful.

Anyway, there aren't too many monarchs left in Africa or Asia, and none has the profile of Queen Elizabeth. But I sure haven't heard that it's expected to grieve for her.

Mexico has had a few brief monarchs/dictators all of them despots the pro-republican Mexicans overthrew in favor of a constitutional republic.

@Avicenna I can't, although in Latin America the support for monarchy has always been higher than it is in the USA as I understand it. Still even the Spanish monarchy was never so liked and today has only about 46 million subjects compared to the 148 million under the British monarchy making it the largest in the world. (about 20 million more than the Japaneses monarchy).
