Queen Elizabeth II had widespread influence across the globe, and it is with sadness and remembrance that we commemorate and observe her passing.

She was the Queen of Malaya and British Borneo, including Singapore (where I am from), until independence in 1957 (Malaysia), 1965 (Singapore), and 1984 (Brunei).

What impact did she have on your country?

She was head of the Commonwealth and church of England.

So of course protestants and Commonwealth citizens are going to be sad and apprehensive
